When you compare the Chevrolet Equinox LS vs. LT, there are plenty of differences to note. Here are the ones you’ll want to know about most.

  • Pricing: The 2021 Chevrolet Equinox LS starts at an affordable $26,300 MSRP. The 2021 Chevrolet Equinox LT, on the other hand, retails for a price of $27,500 MSRP. The previously-available 2.0L turbocharged I4 engine used to be an option on LT trims, but has now been discontinued for 2021.
  • Engine Options: For 2021, the Equinox LS & LT are only available with the ultra-efficient 175-hp 1.5L turbocharged I4, which gets up to 26 mpg city and 31 mpg highway. Research the 2021 Equinox mpg ratings to learn more.
  • Capability: Both the Equinox LT and LS trims make room for five people, and naturally also offer the same amount of available cargo space. What’s more, both trims can tow up to 1,500 pounds.
  • Standard Features: Moving from the L to the LS trim won’t get you many more standard features, but it will unlock a few additional options. However, from there it’s just a small step up to the LT trim, which boasts many of those same options as standard.
