The existing trim levels of the 2021 Chevy Silverado 1500 have continued on into the 2022 Silverado 1500 LTD, with some minor changes for Winchester drivers. These trim levels are:

  • Work Truck
  • Custom
  • Custom Trail Boss
  • LT
  • LTZ
  • RST
  • LT Trail Boss
  • High Country

Some of the standard features that you may expect in the 2021 Chevy Silverado have been changed when it comes to the 2022 Silverado 1500 LTD model. These changes include:

  • 2.7L Turbo I4 Engine – Now standard on WT, Custom, and Custom Trail Boss
  • 5.3L EcoTec3 V8 Engine – Now standard on RST Crew Cab
  • 3.0L I6 Turbo-Diesel Duramax – Now optional on LT Trail Boss
  • 5.3L EcoTec3 V8 Engine – Now optional on the Work Truck
  • 4.3L V6, 5.3L V8, and MYC 6-speed Transmission – No longer available
  • Double Cab – No longer available for the Custom Trail Boss

Along with two of the engines listed above and the Double Cab model on the Custom Trail Boss, they also had to remove:

  • HD Radio Option
  • Cargo Tie-Down Rings
  • Rubber Bed Mat
  • Tiered Storage
  • Custom Max Trailering Package
