Chevrolet gives the Traverse flexible seating configurations so you can get up to 98.2 cubic feet of storage space with the third- and second-row seats folded down.
Under the hood of the Traverse, you’ll find a 3.6-liter V-6 engine producing 310 horsepower and 266 lb-ft of torque. You can get the Chevrolet Traverse standard with front-wheel drive or opt for the available all-wheel drive for more traction.
Technology features include an infotainment system with a 7- or 8-inch touch screen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto smartphone integration. Additional technology features include a wireless charging pad, a power liftgate, and a 10-speaker premium sound system.
The Traverse comes equipped with Chevy Safety Sense driver-assist technology. Key features of this bundle of safety systems include Teen Driver, a forward collision warning with automatic emergency braking, and a lane mitigation system.
A new Chevrolet Traverse has an MSRP ranging from $34,520 to $54,200, depending on the year and trim level. A used Traverse runs between $22,985 and $43,995.
Kia Sorento
The Kia Sorento is another reliable SUV to consider when looking to purchase a used SUV. This SUV also has three rows of seats for up to seven people. Depending on the seating configuration, the Sorento has up to 75.5 cubic feet of storage space.
Kia offers the Sorento with two engine choices: a 2.5-liter four-cylinder with 192 horsepower and 182 lb-ft of torque or the turbocharged 2.5-liter four-cylinder with an output of 281 horsepower and 311 lb-ft of torque. The Sorento comes with either front-wheel drive or, on select trims, all-wheel drive. You can also get the Sorento as a hybrid or plug-in hybrid.
Kia gives the Sorento an 8-inch or optional 10.3-inch touch screen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto integration, an available premium Bose sound system, and an optional wireless charging pad. Driver-assist features for the Kia Sorento include blind-spot assistance, forward collision avoidance assist, and safe exit assist.
Expect to pay between $30,090 and $43,960 if you buy a new Kia Sorento or from $17,992 to $40,900 for a used one based on year and trim level.
Chevrolet Blazer
The Chevrolet Blazer is a popular midsize SUV with sporty looks and exciting color choices such as Radiant Red Tintcoat. This two-row SUV can fit up to five people and has a maximum cargo space of 64.2 cubic feet, depending on the seating configuration.
Under the hood of the Chevrolet Blazer, you’ll find either a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine producing 228 horsepower and 258 lb-ft of torque or a 3.6-liter V-6 engine that delivers 308 horsepower and 270 lb-ft of torque.
The Blazer’s infotainment system includes a 10-inch touch screen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto integration, satellite radio, and a wireless charging station. With the available Convenience Package, you can get a power liftgate, roof rails, and heated front seats.
This midsize SUV also comes with Chevy Safety Assist driver-assist technology. Key features include forward collision alert with automatic emergency braking, adaptive cruise control, and a lane mitigation system.
A new Chevrolet Blazer runs between $35,400 and $45,700 for a new one and from $25,372 to $42,499 for a used one, based on the trim and year.
Honda Pilot
The Honda Pilot has three rows of seats that can fit up to seven people. When you fold down the third- and second-row seats, you can get up to 87 cubic feet of storage space. As you move up the Pilot trims, you’ll find luxury features such as one-touch second-row seating for easy access to the Pilot’s rear, heated and ventilated front seats, and a panoramic moonroof.
All trims of the Honda Pilot come with a 3.5-liter V-6 engine outputting 285 horsepower and 262 lb-ft of torque. The Pilot comes standard with front-wheel drive, or you can opt for the traction-grabbing all-wheel drive.
Honda equips the Pilot with an infotainment system with a 7- or 9-inch touch screen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto integration. Moving up the trim levels, you’ll get a premium 10-speaker Bose sound system, a wireless charging pad, and a Wi-Fi hotspot.
Driver-assist features under the suite of Honda Sensing technology include a collision mitigation braking system, adaptive cruise control, traffic sign recognition, and blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic detection.
The Honda Pilot’s MSRP ranges from $36,300 to $52,380 for a new one and about $25,297 to $43,050 for a used one based on the year and trim level.
